The Visionary Behind PTGR

With 20+ years driving global fashion and business innovation, Sanjay founded Fashion Entrepreneur Fund, Talent Factory, and multiple fashion weeks. As curator of record-holding FTV La Finesse, he shapes fashion platforms worldwide while operating Imperial Tobacco Company Ltd internationally. An ICF-certified Life Coach with a Ph.D. in psychology, he co-founded Nirvana orphanage and champions education and healthcare for underprivileged communities.

The PTGR Journey

Episode 1 – The Pitch

Founders make a 3-minute elevator pitch to the Angels to secure their place in the competition. Initial seed funding is awarded based on clarity, vision, and impact.

Episode 2 – The Product

Founders are assessed on product depth, functionality, and readiness, with focus on customer relevance and product-market fit.

Episode 3 – The Personalization

Contestants customize their products to match the personality and style of Karan Johar and celebrity guests, testing creativity and adaptability.

Episode 4 – The Planet

With Akshay Kumar as a surprise mentor, founders execute a sustainability-focused photoshoot showcasing their brand’s eco-conscious practices.

Episode 5 – The Pricing

Founders create in-store displays and refine pricing strategies to balance aspiration with accessibility, judged through consumer experience and green cards.

Episode 6 – The Product Launch

In a 48-hour challenge, founders conceptualize and launch an entirely new product, leveraging all resources, creativity, and agility under pressure.

Episode 7 – The Party (Power Networking)

Founders network with industry leaders at a high-stakes FEF party; their ability to connect, communicate, and build trust determines their place in the finale.

Episode 8 – The Pay Off

At the FEF Gala, finalists pitch one last time in a star-studded finale where winners are crowned, and investments are made live.

By spotlighting fashion as both a cultural force and an economic driver, PTGR aims to generate employment, boost India’s creative economy, and further the ‘Make in India’ vision. Ultimately, the show redefines fashion entrepreneurship—where passion meets profit, and where India’s next fashion moguls are made.
